In such a short amount of time Americans have changed from living off the land to grocery stores to fast food to "the only place you can get food is Walmart" and then back to "the land."

There is a lesson here for us. Just in WGF and MLF lifetime - when WGF family could raise food to eat on their land (like the most recent pig story?) and survive. Women (and men) put food up for winter. I know it took a different amount of time - not the kind of time we have today because we work jobs and stuff. but…….

Also, I am deeply disturbed by the million(s) (?) of people without power in Florida. Nobody's fault. Nature will have her way. But this is a great reason for the geniuses in my family to develop solar and wind (and any other) energy "machines."  If every home had some form of way to generate at least a little energy when the grid goes out, there could at least be some light at night and could charge devices!!!  Come on y'all.  There's a million dollar invention!
